All client customizations to add HCPCS codes to Medicare eligibility inquiries have been updated to remove the terminated codes. All Medicare transactions can be reprocessed.

Update
Upon further investigation, we have discovered that some clients have customizations in Waystar that add HCPCS codes to their Medicare eligibility inquiries. We are reviewing to determine the best way to move-forward for all clients. We will continue to update you as we work with CMS and our internal EDI team.

In the meantime, you will continue to see AAA-15 content errors as you process Medicare inquiries. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you have any additional questions, you can open a case in the support and training center or continue to monitor this page for updates.

Effective 1/1/2025 CMS is no longer supporting HCPCS codes G0106 & G0120. Any eligibility transaction submitted with these codes will error.
